Inspection

Posting this days later I can't remember much but I do know I spent almost the whole day on the bees, carry ing out a detailed full inspection.

Went reasonably well - I didn't get stung, found 3 of the 4 queens (the fourth was clearly there somewhere but I couldn't spot her). Looks like there should be some honey in a few weeks from two hives. Split one of the other hives in to two and the fourth hive, the weakest from last year, is building itself up and may have some last "Honeydew" honey in a few months. Blip of Angie in the evening giving our 30 year old Arab Asyr a good clean. He thoroughly enjoys the attention and above all having a good brush and vacuum. She had been out with the dogs for a ride in the morning.
