Cactus Bloom

I was at a friend's house where I saw this beautiful cactus flower. She said the plant is not very pretty "hanging around" until it blooms this time of year; I could see what she meant when I looked more closely.

I slept way too late this morning....I am afraid that I have been staying up too late again. So, tonight I am going to bed earlier; don't look for many comments.
