Today is Nurses' Day - our message of appreciation

A message from our Deputy Nurse, Anne Scott, on RCN Nurses Day

“Today is an excellent opportunity to be proud of all the hard work all our nurses do within our CCG.
 
I am very proud to say that I am a nurse and remain as passionate about my profession as the day I qualified 28 years ago. Nurses make a huge difference in people’s lives, through their professionalism in  practice, through their experience and knowledge, through their wisdom and ability to interpret their patient’s needs, but mainly through a kind word, a smile or just by holding a hand at the right moment.

What other profession is this possible?


I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the nurses within ELR CCG for all for their hard work and commitment to their patients and to the provision of excellent patient care. Thank you.”
