Kilauea Point

I wanted to post a picture of the albatross chick we found in Princeville, Kauai but in turns out because of the time difference I've already posted a picture for the day. So here is Kilauea Point, where loads of red-footed boobies, red-tailed tropicbirds and wedge-tailed shearwaters live as well as a few albatrosses.

Laysan albatrosses now nest in suburban gardens in Princeville and their chicks can be found in any suitable shrubbery.

Be careful of the albatross when you mow the lawn, honey!
