Where is everyone?

Had a lovely walk in sun and wind about four miles along the beach then back through the dunes and alongside the river. Enjoy a little undulation. Did not see one person! The dunes were full of larks, pipits and a cuckoo.
Expected rain, but was out three hours and it was dry.
