Blackbird

A rather unexpected free afternoon today so I pottered in the house and planted geraniums in a pot for the garden. I watched this blackbird from the house for quite a while, thinking it might have been hurt. It was only three metres from the back door, just under the bird feeder and kept preening its wing, staying more or less in the same place. But then, it started pecking at the ground and went away as if nothing had happened. Looking at the photo, I wonder if it's a fledgling......
