Banana plant

Thank you for the stars for yesterday's fishing boat.
The temperature here is in the high 20's, low 30's. Centigrade but we managed to find some breeze on another part of the island and did a couple of hours flat walking. Interestingly, the higher temperatures are not at sea level but higher up in the mountains which is opposite to usual.
This is a banana plant with the flower still attached. The bananas are picked when green and are ready when the flower falls off. The fruit is formed on the mother plant which produces a new baby plant for the next fruit to grow on. The mother plant then becomes the grandmother plant and dies having fulfilled her mission in forming fruits.
