I was wondering what other people's recent experiences of NHS waiting times was. Do you think that for a non life threatening condition

4 months to see a consultant for a diagnosis, then
3 months from then to have the necessary operation

was the norm and not considered excessive?

A strange topic for a blip, but it has been taking up all my thoughts today.
