Efterklang Leaves

Our love of the Danish band Efterklang is common knowledge, from seeing them at The Big Chill in 2005, to gigs in venues such as Norwich Arts Centre, The Barbican and Halifax Minister they have always been something special.

Their films are equally special, The Ghost of Piramida providing the visuals to the Piramida album. Andy and I had the honour of showing this film as part of a Fringe Festival in Suffolk.

Each of their musical releases should be heard.

Today in the inbox was the announcement that they along with Karstein Fundal are staging an opera called Leaves in a Cold War bunker in Copenhagen. Genuine excitement!

So Andy has booked tickets and flights and hotel for a long weekend in August are in the bag. Genuinely excited !
