Rudry Ridge Sunset
It's been a quiet day; mainly spent backing up photo files and shopping. This evening I drove to my friends farm on the ridge overlooking Cardiff on the one side and Caerphilly on the other. The visit was two fold - to collect a dozen free range eggs and to get a sunset photograph.
Dave or his son wasn't around so I got the eggs and left my payment in the honesty box.
Making my way along the ridge, the views overlooking Cardiff City Centre and the Bristol Channel were superb. However, the sun was setting in the West so my view was directed over Caerphilly and the hills beyond.
I watched the sun going down and snapped away. My favourite is the blip photo of the sun going down behind a cloud which it lights up. A bird flying by adds to the image.
