Blue-winged Warbler

I went today again to the nearby sanctuary recently taken over by the Fish and Wildlife Service, this time to join a weekly group organized by our bird club.

I mostly walked with two special friends, one of whom is especially good at hearing songs, and he pointed me to this bird--not uncommon but not at all easy to see (and I've seldom had it previously).  We were quite far and the bird not really in the open--but a close crop turned out amazingly well--it's unassuming but very special.
