Piwakawaka (Fantail)

I hadn't taken any photos today so late this afternoon I went out for a drive thinking I'd get some barbed wire and fence post shots. Fortunately for me I spotted a couple of fantails and some waxeyes at a local creek.

I didn't manage to get any fantails with their tails open, but I do love their wee white eyebrows that always make them look like they're frowning.
