Grey Heron

An adult Grey Heron, who didn't want to be photographed, but I caught him just as he was about to take off-such a huge impressive bird, that I always want to get a better photograph of. The Grey Heron is the largest Heron species found in Oman and can be as tall as 95cm. He's around anywhere that he can find fish so he's not fussy if it is sea or freshwater fish, just plenty of it to feed his voracious appetite. Can't get enough of these impressive birds!
