A Dane in Norway

Petroglyphs

These are dated to about 2000 BC and are located just around the corner. They are notoriously known for being difficult to photograph. Different light, weather, angles and settings will give you another picture. One of the perks of my job is access to a database with all known archaeological sites in the country, so can use this as a tool for future excursions and photo trips.

I've included an older photo from 2010 taken at the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Alta, Northern Norway, of unpainted petroglyphs taken with a better camera.
