Spellbound

I've probably mentioned several times throughout the blip about how much the wee man loves his alphabet and how he now loves to 'spell' words. He is constantly pointing to words and saying 'what does that spell' and has even memorised a few (cat, dog, car).  He's also not afraid to have a go at longer words.  

A few days ago, after requesting a sweetie, we asked him how to spell it. 's...a...a...i...m...n'  he confidently guessed.  'Pretty close' I said, so he added, 'p....o'.    
This pic shows him spelling his favourite word in the bath. Nikki was nearby in another room and overheard him saying, 'E...r...n...i...e  spells 'Ernie''!  And then, cos Mama wasn't there, he congratulated himself, 'Good job, Ernie. Good job.'  Mama had quite the chuckle when she walked back in and saw the letters on the bath. He does look rather pleased with himself, doesn't he?
