Whitethroat

Ever since I have started blipping I have been far more observant when it comes to birds (and butterflies now).

Today I was down by the River Mersey in Warrington where I took a very good photograph of a peacock butterfly. However this was trumped by this bird. I didn't know what it was at first and thought it was another sedge warbler but now that I have studied the picture I realise that it is a whitethroat. If I had realised I would have tried to get some more pictures.
