Angel of the Midlands

Jane and I cycled to Leamington today and on the way back we diverted to the village of Lowsonford to see the newly unveiled Antony Gormley sculpture which has appeared there.

It is part of an installation of 5 sculptures around the country entitled 'Land'.

Technophobe has blipped an arty-farty shot but I chose this more traditional view which shows the historic 'Lengthman's Cottage' in the background.

There were several photographers around and I note that Orchid99 has blipped this today also.  I wonder if one of them was Orchid99.
