A Roof with a View

We'd have a great view if we lived on the roof,
Leaning on chimneys, our feet on the tiles.
We'd see the wide ocean and still wider sky.
If we lived on the rooftop we'd see many miles.

The photo was taken by Mr PP on my behalf as it's not too easy climbing up scaffolding and I don't have a good head for heights. (Didn't want to get in the way either!) 

If you're wondering why he was up on the roof, please see my yesterblip!  Late this afternoon, after much pressure-hosing, a trickle of water finally appeared down the side of the pipe leading to the woodburning stove. So, the area of ingress has been narrowed down to one spot. Fixing it is the next job, but bro-in-law has now headed home, without whose help, we'd have been in great difficulties. And all achieved in sunshine before the rain arrives tonight. Phew!
