Tremendous Trees

The thing I love best about High Leigh, where we had the conference, are the magnificent trees - so many different varieties, so majestic, dwarfing the huge house. I think of those who planted them long ago - did they imagine them getting this huge and did they take pleasure imagining those not yet born enjoying their work?

And now to get back to cooking my own food... rather than the excellent meals provided for us at High Leigh.
