Modern Technology
When I was a student, x-rays were developed by hand, usually in the surgery toilet (because it was a small, dark room!). It involved lots of smelly chemicals and an awful lot of stumbling around in the dark.
The advent of automatic processing seemed like the bees' knees when it arrived.
And now, the digital era is upon us.
What a difference!
No smelly chemical, the ability to adjust contrast, to zoom in, minimal wastage, quicker images...
Just the humungous price tag!
No going back now though.
We have also invested in a dental x-ray which will allow much improved dental diagnosis and treatment...
Changed times!
