Time out for a Chat

I got my daughter to drop me off at the park while she did a quick chore in town.  I was hoping to capture some autumn trees in full colour but most of the leaves were in a thick carpet on the ground.

These two ladies were enjoying a chat sitting amongst the trees. I think they had probably been for a brisk walk around the lake.

I am glad I took the opportunity as we had barely got home before it started to rain, and it has been raining ever since.

I am really missing not being able to bring my new DSLR with me - the cabin baggage allowance was too stingy - I had the laptop as well as a handbag.
