Wide Angle Wednesday - Odd

My interpretation on odd - that many young people would find it odd that a sliding piece of wood could be used to calculate mathematical engineering formulas. No buttons, no batteries. Instructions were even printed on the back! It also is odd that is was manufactured in Peru, Indiana!
