These cows belong to our neighbor.  They are relaxed and comfortable - I remember some myth saying that when cows are lying down, it means rain is coming because they sense it and are keeping their spots dry.  Mr M laughs and laughs when I tell him that.  But let me just say, rain was in the forecast for today and the cows were on the ground.
