TAKE A SEAT

Our guest was supposed to arrive today but is now coming tomorrow, which has given me a day's reprieve. I am glad he didn't tell us until last night, after I had finished clearing the spare room and found the bed, because now I have a free day before the visit. And I need a period of calm before the storm.

I did the food shopping this morning and the fridge is well stocked. I have uploaded umpteen blips as I was well behind again, and now I feel a few moments with my book have been earned.
