The Engine House Shelve.

I spent another day in the South Shropshire Hills, the weather was perfect for walking and photography, but I'd organised lunch at the Stiperstones Pub-(always wonderful,) for our U3A Luncheon Group. It was a great success, but meant that I couldn't wander far from the beaten track as I'd taken people up there, but the country-side was so beautiful- I shall return.
This is a shot of one of the old engine houses used in the lead mining days- there are several around, all made safe ( Health and Safety )- I still tread as lightly as poss thinking of mine shafts that may suddenly open,- I always feel full and fat after a meal at the pub!!.
