Bay of Ireland and Hoy Hills

We started the day by cycling up to the Kirk Cafe.  The ‘ladies’ noticed the scar on my head and I had to relate the story of CMC whacking me with the frying pan.  However Jackie, Geordie, Raymond and Peter also had scars on their heads so we bonded immediately.  We then cycled through to Stromness.  Had a ‘mushroom melt’ at Julia’s and claimed my free coffee.  Julia had a chat with CMC and asked what she thought of her new creation:  Puy lentil and mackerel tart.  It got the thumbs up and Julia is going to launch it.  We then went to visit CMC Snr and final visits with Frieda and Phyllis before heading for home.  Dancing tonight.
