No spiders were harmed during .....

.... oh dear it just curled up its 8 legs and died on me.  

Jane spotted it in the bath earlier but by the time I went looking it had got itself submerged in a drop of water.  I thought I had rescued it from drowning but clearly my CPR skills need brushing up because it flat-lined shortly after I took this shot.
