Coming in - Sherkin Island

Out on Sherkin today, between the showers it was lovely. Running through the basics of the world of tweeting and social media with the librarian Sue , she's not that convinced... The ferry was full of garrulous art students of all ages going over to set up their work in the hall for assessment. The island runs a fully accredited distance learning art degree in conjunction with a third level institute in Dublin. Its a bit mad but it works. The tiny library probably has more art books in stock than most branches! Horses for courses.
