Colonisers

A bit of recently cleared ground was being rapidly colonised by these cheerful Cat's ear flowers, my orchard at home is full of them, such a splash of colour! the light was wonderful today but the wind from the east made it too chilly to sit on the beach with my book, I had to keep walking!
