Somehow it seemed perfect...

that this epiphyllum orchid chose to put out blooms.
I do not have a green thumb and only the hardiest of plants who can stand to be neglected survive in my home. This is one of those plants and it was given to me years ago as a cutting after I had admired the huge blooms that spanned about 6 inches across when fully open. It bloomed that first year but not since, until now when I spotted this!
It was like having a visit from the woman who gave it to me.
She passed away on April 6th.
