Kangaroo Paws...

Once again I marched into the garden (which is about as far as I can march at the moment) in search of a macro shot. We moved these Kangaroo Paw  plants to a spot in the little patio where our hot tub will live. I was out there today measuring for a deck when they caught my eye. Although, not surprisingly, they are native to Australia, they do very nicely here and the greenish flowers which have popped out in the last week seem perfect for a macro shot.

Perfect or not, it was starting to rain and Blake had wandered off to the farthest, reaches of the garden, no doubt desirous of ingesting something he shouldn't, so the shot was chosen by default….
