Where's the royal wave?

We spent Jubilee Sunday in the sunshine in West Sussex, unlike the Queen who had to endure the rain on her flotilla on the Thames.

This photo was taken in the coastal village of Bosham near Chichester. Legend has it that it was here that King Canute demonstrated the limits of his wave defying powers to overly deferential courtiers.

We were lucky enough to be there at low tide when it is particularly beautiful.
