In Your Face Battles!
Battles happening in the blink of an eye. When I watch this feeder with the naked eye, all I see is little pine siskins eating and hopping and repositioning. Occasionally a flutter or two goes on long enough for me to notice, but never appears to be too aggressive. Then, I spend some time observing from behind the camera lens... Wow! It's just constant, fraction-of-a-second battles going on! These are tiny, fierce little birds! Paging through a series of images of them proves to be quite entertaining! :)
The image works best in 'large', due to the portrait view.
