short arse!

my daughter's new skirt, to be worn for a 21st B'day tonight, is too long, so it needed to be shortened.
arguments between wife and daughter range from tacking (wife's method) over pinning (daughter's), on to cutting, zig-zag hem then sewing (wife's) over cutting then sewing (daughter's).
this photo was taken after my daughter revealed she was using the ironing board as a voodoo doll, to represent her mother, and was sticking pins in it!!
