PLENTY OF ORCHIDS....

.... this weekend at the Orchids Out West Show.

You may recall, David our President of the Prostate Cancer Support Group, and his wife are avid orchid growers,and have shown some of their orchids here before.

Well this weekend The Orchid Society of NSW have a really big show on of any variety of orchid you would desire to enjoy. David and his wife had entered some of their orchids so we went out this morning to have a look.

They had won a well deserved first prize and their entry is hidden away in their groups display in extra pic 1. 

The boss reckons I am getting soft in picking this one today, when I could have Blipped the Show Champion Orchid (a Day's Cymbidium) shown in extra pics 2 and 3.

A couple of others are shown in extra pics 4, 5 and 6.

Wonderful morning, and just opens your eyes to the wonder and range of these natures beauties.
