Hunkered down . . . . .

These Royal Spoonbills were finding the southerly gusts sweeping over the hills hard to cope with. No sweeping the water for food for them; they were just waiting for the weather to ease. I think they'd have had to wait quite a while too. What wild weather we've had out on Port Hills today.
