Huatekerere
With the light starting to fade, this evening me and the dogs headed up the kowhai stream once more to stretch our legs and get some fresh air.
The cloud was swirling above us and Little Mount Peel/Huatekerere, giving a moody light over the forest and dry stream bed. It's been a grey day mostly for us, the hills trapping clouds and wind blowing rain down to the lower slopes.
When I took this, little did I know that the cloud would eventually clear to a gorgeous clear starry night. And whilst it's tempting to head out and shoot the stars once more, I think I'll call it a night. But don't worry, more night skies will follow again very soon....
