Northumberland County Show

After a last-minute decision last night, prompted by an ok-ish weather forecast, we went to the Northumberland County Show at Corbridge today. Got there very early and all had a lovely time.

Jack and Annie ate ice cream from Wheelbirks, watched cows being milked, sheep, hens, rabbits and alpacas being judged, horses being ridden over jumps and tasted lots of things in the food tent - including some chocolate and chilli fudge which Jack rather regretted! They met some birds of prey in one of the tents and Jack was particularly taken with this little owl.

A very nice Bank Holiday, wonder if they will stay awake long enough to watch the concert tonight...
