Gone To Seed

In the early morning light the seeds of the Tipuana Tipu tree looked beautiful. This is a big tree and it was literally thickly covered all over with its helicopter seeds, easy to see why it has been declared a weed in most parts of Australia.

It's a South American tree which we have used here as street shade trees for quite a long time and with this amount of seeds every year they have quickly spread throughout the suburbs!

This was the only little bit of sun today the rest of the day has been completely grey and warm hitting 26 by the middle of the afternoon.

The clouds rolling in this morning were interesting and I've put one in as my extra shot today. The rain is on its way and will probably hit late tomorrow although they've changed the forecast a few times so who knows!
