Well protected.

While walking with M in the lane recently we saw a blackbird fly into a blackthorn bush, and then discovered it had returned to a nest. Typically neither of us had a camera then, but today the bird was happy to pose.  The nest was deep inside the hedge and it was difficult to get a clear shot.
