Rowing Time !

Once a year, a rowing contest is organized over the stretch Harlingen-Terschelling. It is a distance over sea of approximate 33 kilometer and, depending on the weather, winds and waves, it is about 4-5 hours rowing.
You cannot do this without training, and most of the teams trained for weeks and weeks prior to this race. Here you see a rowing team from our island flying the Terschelling flag. Just over 4 hours which is not bad.
