West Crosscauseway

Occasionally, just occasionally you see great moments when you're out.

Walking along West Crosscauseway this morning; killing time between school runs, blipper hellos and waiting for Asda to serve alcohol (£3 bottles of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc...), me and the youngest Ciglette wandered, lonely as clouds looking at CIgs handiwork.

There's three recent ones here I had my eye on. But the middle one of the three proved to be the winner.

We turned the corner of Quarry Close to find a VW Golf trying to escape.

Looks like the lad had parked in the church grounds, gone off and come back to find someone had padlocked in the bar to bar entry. Or indeed exit.

We watched as he scrapped and scuffed his car all the time knowing he had no chance of escape. And he knew it. But he was determined to get out.

By my reckoning he was probably better paying the £60 fine than inflict £300 of damage on the car. But pride has a price  too, I guess.....

Mauve paint (yep one of those ones) on green shop front ( a very pleasing regal colour combination)

I could have stayed a while but as it was we were late for the bell at school pick up #1....

The extra photo option has been invoked to show just how tightly he was up against the wall.
