Not so little

Saw these not so little goslings this morning at the start of our mini club ride. The mileage wasn't mini (44 miles) it was the group. Only 4 of us out as a lot of the others are on the Suffolk tour. Heard from MR PB and they did not have all the rain that we had yesterday - so that is a relief! Great ride and saw lots of red kites very close above us, a buzzard on the over head cables and a squirrel that came with in an inch of Phil's bike. That was a close one! Also saw (and wanted to stop and blip) a man tending his bee hives just in the bushes off the main road. Quite something to see all togged up in his bee keepers outfit.

Once home I found out that I must be more careful with the hens. There was a lot of squawking going on and when I investigated Daphne had got a heel of bread off the work top and was busy pecking it on the kitchen floor!

Looking forward to having MR PB home today - off to cook him something nice for tea. (sorry Fu it will have cauliflower in it!)
