"You'll not grow that here"
So said a gardening friend. She'll be right in the long run as Primula secundiflora, a species from Yunnan and Szechwan in China, loves a moist soil and a humid climate. The mostly wet summer 2014 helped this seed raised plant along. If we have a prolonged dry spell this summer I doubt it will survive here. Am enjoying it's delicate beauty while I can :-)
PS - PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT YESTERDAYS BLIP if you have not already done so. 6 more Favs will push it to the front page!
Big Thank You to all who have supported our cause already :-) x
And Finally : 1095 today. That's 3 years in old money. Due to inflation it's actually taken over 6 months longer! Been great fun - all the more so for the many friends I meet here. Thank you for all your support.
