The Roads of Central England

This is an old map of my late father's, part of a pile to ebay-or-archive. This is 'archive', especially as I've just spotted a red outline added which presumably was his patch when he was working in that area.

The map dates are interesting - bracketing the time before and after the war, but pre-dating the damage done to Coventry by the 1960s.

This is the opening photo of catching up with the last week, so a series of backblips to follow.

It's not been a good week; M's lost a housemate from the house in Coventry, which opens several cans of worms for us as landlords; and we've just returned from Oxford where A is in hospital following a series of small strokes.

No idea what tomorrow might bring.
