Had a great day today.

Took the girls to football camp and captured a nice goose at take off.

Then mattg and Wayne came over for a long afternoon lunch. All food made and prepared by Mrs H: pork pies with quail eggs, spicy mango chicken pasties, ham, bread, salad, frittata, semifreddo, cup cakes, chilli chocolate cake and a lemon tart. Bloody gorgeous, the lot of it.

The sun shone for a bit, so we had some nice time in the garden that included Matt showing the girls how to properly throw a paper aeroplane - that shot was very nearly my Blip.

However, it had to be Mrs H today for all the hard work she has put into today - and every day in general. She is the light of my life, the dawn of my day, the icing on my cake, the crackling on my belly pork, the best app in my iLife, the top shot in my photo-shoot, the goal of my season, the royal flush of my poker game.... the best wife and mother of children there could ever be.

I'm a lucky man.
