The Dorset Bluebell Dream...
Just a bit of a nightmare to get to. Involving buses taking an hour and a half each way, just to go a few miles. And then 4 or 5 more miles on foot.
Go LARGE - feel the clarity, baby!
The barbed wire fence that strung itself right across the picture was a bit of a nightmare too. Either dig it up and let all three (YES, just three) cows out - just how tender will those steaks be - all that luscious grass and tranquillity...
Or, remove it after.
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the map and for once, I think that this Dorset gladey grassy meadow does indeed fit into that category.
This is the lens' closest focus and an f25 aperture for depth of field PLUS a polariser - you don't need a maths degree to know that means a lot of light lost. Kneeling in the wet grass was well worth it though!
Well behind with comments and such - in my defence though I do need to be out in such weather and in such glorious places at this time of year. Summer will just change it all, for the worse.! Hope to catch up a bit later.
Thanks too for everything and to ALL on my very green Winchester landscape yesterday!
