"Little Ears"

This is a lovely little early flowering lavender shrub,  Lavendula "stoechas" or buttertfly lavender as its more commonly known. It's a different variety to the standard lavender and is flowering well in my front garden.
The flower head is unusual as it is has two little pointed ears standing up to attention, listening out for the bees,  who of course love it.
