le lac Léman

lovely day on the shores of lake geneva.

slow start to the day (flipping european black-out blinds keeping robert asleep) discovering that nothing really gets going in geneva before 10am. wondered around the (beautiful) empty streets in search of coffee. the europeans have got their coffee right: short and strong.

wondered around one side of the lake shore, stopping off for a sit down and a read on these wonderfully placed white chairs, drilled into the rock for the perfect lake view. more mooching, consumption of cheese based goods, reading and people watching.

the afternoon was similar in content, the only difference being that the location was the other side of the lake shore. and involved hummus. not swiss, but very delicious.

tonight: mooching, food and maybe some dancing.

oh, and my face is sunburnt. more fuel for chickensparrow's constant 'wrinkle watching'.
