Back Tor

An exhilarating walk from Castleton, up towards Mam Tor, over to Back Tor, then to Lose Hill and down to Hope for lunch.

It seems ridiculous that we haven't been over to the Peak District for so long - our party have travelled from as far south as Exeter and Taunton, as far north as Newcastle, and as far west as Cardiff. It took us 75 minutes to get here, albeit with favourable traffic conditions.

Enjoyable company and conversation, good ( if very blowy) weather, and proof that we can still walk uphill !
